An ACORN aggregation last week failed where the lat/lon grid was the same shape between files but had different values. See: aodn/issues#347

The aggregator assumes that the grids are consistent.

Could the compliance checker be enhanced to detect when files in a collection have differing grids & report errors when detected?

Such a check could be implemented as part of a facility- or collection-specific checker plug-in within the https://github.com/aodn/cc-plugin-imos repo. Then it would be accessible to any pipeline where it's relevant.
