Probably it makes much more sense to release camel-k-runtime 1.12.0, instead of 1.11.1. On main we have camel bumped to 3.14.1 and camel-quarkus on 2.7.0, which it is supporting the same camel version. So I'll go with it.

If we are ready, I would start the release. There is by the way this new issue here: #3006 maybe we could have a look, just to verify if it's a problem in the release process or something else

Yeah the CLIs should be the correct versions in the release

It seems it is a false alarm at first sight. I'll release next week by the way. It's a bit long process, so better to start at beginning of the week. No rush.

I've downloaded the 1.8.0 binary from https://github.com/apache/camel-k/releases/download/v1.8.0/camel-k-client-1.8.0-mac-64bit.tar.gz and confirm it's the correct version:

$ kamel version
Camel K Client 1.8.0

It seems it's good to go 👍🏼.
