Valid characters in path

Hi,

I am the maintainer of telegraf, which has an output to send data to iotdb. We have had an issue and now a PR come up where iotdb rejects metrics because of invalid characters in the path.

For version 0.13.x, there is this doc that seems to layout the valid Characters, but this does not seem to apply for versions 1.2 and 1.3. Is there a newer version of this document? Or can someone clarify what are valid or not?
