I am having the following problem with Error 111 and 52.

24/12/2021, 23:01:11 HOOBS Tapo Smart Platform ERROR 111 Error: connect EHOSTUNREACH 192.168.1.189:80
24/12/2021, 23:01:11 HOOBS Tapo Smart Platform ERROR 52 - Get Device Info failed

Any idea what the problem might be?

Hi, I had the same problem with 3 Tapo p100 plugs and it has been bugging me for a few days now. Yesterday I discovered that the issue was related to my internal network configuration. I had the plugs connected to a guest Wi-Fi network with a very strict policy (blocked communication across networks), once I reconnected them to a different network and restarted homebridge the errors disappeared and everything functions properly. Hope this will help.

Thanks for your reply mate. Appreciated. I managed to get it sorted by luck, like most of the Hoobs/Homebridge plug-ins. I have a few plug-ins and they're so difficult to make work even when you follow the instructions to the tee. Will bear your comments in mind should I have the same problem again. Thanks

I have those issues too. I actually have my Tapo P100 in a different network for security, Homebridge is in my 192.x.x.x and the devices in a 10.x.x.x with a firewall rule that allows connections to be initiated from the Homebridge but not from the Tapo(s) to the Home bridge. Is that an issue and if yes why? I also see a some point the message [Tapo Smart Platform] 371 Error: timeout of 2000ms exceeded in the logs every 30 secs.
