There are two issues with thunderbird currently:

  • The close button is missaligned
  • The message Tabs have a huge offset (Same with default gnome theme, so possibly no error by us)

Would be nice if we could either fix this or somebody knows why this has changed by thunderbird.

This seems to only happen, if you disable the title bar, while also having the menu bar visible.

I don't think there's anything that can be done from the theme's side, and this should be considered an upstream bug on thunderbird. As a workaround, you can either enable the title bar decorations (right-click on titlebar -> customize... -> Check "Show title bar"), or disable the menu bar.
