Yaml Schema Spec Configuration for VSCode

I've had a really challenging time trying to merely get the argo json schema configured in vscode with the redhat yaml extension. I've tried dozens of different ways and cannot figure out how to get autocompletion working in my yaml files. I currently have the following setup in settings.json.

  "yaml.schemas": {
    "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/argoproj/argo/master/api/jsonschema/schema.json": "deployment/argo/*.yaml"
  },

Regardless of the above, nothing comes up in the autcompletion:
