The catalog https://sqe.dev.java.net/updatecenters/sqe/catalog.xml should use
DTD 2.5 to be supported in NetBeans 6.0 Beta 1.
The current catalog uses version 3.0 which causes that users of NetBeans 6.0
Beta1 can see empty list while connected to this update center. So that plugins
cannot be installed.

Environment

Operating System: All
Platform: All

Affected Versions

[1.9.22]

There is important document about the functionality of Plugins in NetBeans 6.0
that explains how does it work and what is necessary to do with plugins to have
it supported by plugin manager - you can find it at the following address:

I've filed a bug at Project SQE (https://sqe.dev.java.net). It can be viewed
here: https://sqe.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=17 The bug filed at
Project SQE cross references this bug.

Got the following from Sven at Project SQE. I have tried out the new update
center URL in NetBeans 6.0 IDE and appears to be working fine. I will also
update the tutorial with this new information.

https://sqe.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=17

User sven changed the following:

What |Old value |New value

Status|NEW |RESOLVED

Resolution| |FIXED

------- Additional comments from sven@dev.java.net Fri Sep 28 12:06:10 +0000
2007 -------
The old updatecenter for nb6 has been removed. A new one is available at
https://sqe.dev.java.net/updatecenters/sqe/updates.xml.

Additionally a NetBeans moudle containing the Update Center description is now
available for download from
https://sqe.dev.java.net/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=0

Hope this works for all of you.
