It's not just Google. Apparently a lot of sites including telegraph, couchdb wiki etc have this issue. Weird.

Set default font to size 16px for websites which do not set a font-size in their stylesheet. Closed by c9369f3

I'm such a douche. The reason it was displaying correctly for some pages and not others is because Safari and Firefox set their default font to 16px whereas WebView sets it by default to 12px. GMail, Google and a bunch of other sites do not set a default font-size in their CSS and hence it comes very small. Wego, mclov.in etc do set a default font size, so it shows up as it does on Safari/FF.

Thanks to StackOverflow: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1186363/problem-with-webkit-rendering-google-com-and-a-few-other-sites
