Main Parameters

IP Address here you can change the IP address or use a hostname of the hub connection.

Port Number is the http port your hub operates on. This should be 80 unless you have some special network setup using NATing.

Scan Interval is the interval in seconds that the integration will update from the hub. Do not set this too low as the hub will not be able to cope and you will see errors. Default is 30.

Default Heating Boost Temperature is the delta temperature above the current room temperature the radiator should be set to when boosted, default is 2

Default Heating Boost Duration is the time (in minutes) for which a heating boost should be active for, default is 60 mins

Default Hot Water Boost Duration is the time (in minutes) for which a hot water boost should be active for, default is 60 mins

Setpoint Mode modifies the way setpoint works. There are 3 options:

  • Normal - the functionality is the same as the Wiser app
  • Boost - when you set a new setpoint it will only take affect for the default "boost" time.
  • Boost Only in Auto - same as the boost mode but will only do this if in auto mode. In manual mode, it will set the temp as per default mode.

Use This Temperature If No Stored Manual Temperature when setting a manual temp on one of your rooms, we store this to use each time you go back to manual/heat mode. However, on a HA restart, we do not have a stored temp, so here you can set what temp to use in that first time use situation. There are 3 options:

  • Current - the current temperature of the room
  • Scheduled - the current scheduled temperature
  • Minimum - the hub minimum temp which is 5C

Hot Water Climate Parameters

This is a type of integration automation that allows you to use an external temperature sensor on your hotwater tank to control the Wiser hot water heating.

Enable The Climate Entity here you enable this entity which is disabled by default for users who may not have a hot water compatible hub or are upgrading.

Hot Water Auto Mode modifies the way the Auto (Scheduled) mode works. There are 2 options:

  • Normal - the functionality is the same as a traditional hot water cylinder thermostat and the Wiser app room heating. During an On schedule the hot water will heat to the target temperature whenever it drops below that target
  • Once - the hot water will heat to the target temperature once during an On schedule and remain in Idle for the remainder even if the temperature drops below the target

Hot Water Heat Mode modifies the way the Heat (Manual) mode works. There are 2 options:

  • Normal - the functionality is the same as the Wiser app, the hot water can either be on (HEAT) or off (OFF). This has the effect that once the temperature reaches the target the hot water is turned off fully and is not turned on again automatically
  • Override - uses overrides to track Heat mode in Idle vs Off mode. This allows the hot water heating to be turned on and off but is somewhat incompatible with the Wiser app

Default Hot Water Target Temperature (°C) is the temperature at which to turn off the hot water heating on a HA restart.
