Hi,

give you a quick overview on my installation:
Minecraft: 1.18.2
Forge: 40.2.0
Mods:
Connectedness
Conquest Reforged
Flywheel
Iris & Oculus comp. Flywheel
Magnesium / Rubidium Extra
Oculus
Reforgium
Rubidium
Rubidium Extra
TexTrue Rubidium

  • Conquest Ressourcepack - for the mod. Not the vanilla one.

  • Shaders applied:
    Complementary 4.4
Quick note on that: Complementary is the only shader that makes it work somehow - but modded translucent blocks with color won´t work.
If you turn Shader off all modded blocks that use CTM won´t apply Rendertype cutout or translucent or maybe else. Other blocks that do not use any CTM method are fine.

Provided my test instance - you can simply import it with the curseforge launcher.
Shaders are applied there + a test world. Make sure to turn shaders off to see the full issue :)

Recreated with just connectedness, conquest reforged, reforgium, and the conquest resource pack. Interestingly, even blocks that don't use connected textures break once the resource pack with connected textures is added. Once you add the resource pack, any block with transparency that is not in vanilla minecraft loses the transparency.

This is not unique to conquest reforged, create: connected block textures also has the same problem. I haven't tested more mods but I am assuming they will all have the same problem. In the case of create: connected block textures, no resource packs were used, just create, the connected block textures mod, flywheel, connectedness and reforgium.

@kasuno011 have tested it in 1.19.2 - it´s working perfectly fine there. I´ll reach out to the mod author on discord.
