Gemfile not found #18

When I run gem install uuid; uuid it returns:

.../gems/uuid-2.3.4/Gemfile not found

I manually add the Gemfile and I get:

.../bin/uuid:19: stack level too deep (SystemStackError)

I had the same problem and wrote a fix in pull request #25
