Vim doesn't react to this line on my .vimrc file:

set guifont=DejaVu\ Sans\ Mono\ for\ Powerline\ 8

yet another question from vim newbie

I have

set guifont=Consolas:h14

Not sure how you would go about it with the spaces, but i see you missing the colon(:) before the font size.
