Redo should leave cursor at the beginning of modification. #342

Any update on this? |
The redo is mapped as the core redo: 'ctrl-r': 'core:redo' Actually we also use the core:undo, as I pointed on #421. So the question here really is "should we implement our own undo/redo system"? |
I think undo/redo is pretty critical to the Vim editing experience. Undo/redo is also a form of navigation in Vim, and as we all know, navigation is key to the Vim "feel". |
I agree, this is pretty important. I have been trying to use vim-mode for a few hours, and this is one of the things that has been bothering me. |
Any update here? |
As stated in the README, this package is no longer maintained and is deprecated. We recommend that people use the vim-mode-plus package instead. Because of this, we are archiving this repository and closing all issues and pull requests. Thanks very much for your support and contributions! |
