Eclipse Marketplace #1
Comments
Thank you for your kind comment. I'm planning to make it installable easily (marketplace or install site) ;-) Right now I'm finishing up writing my thesis (deadline is in two weeks) then I'll have time to make a few improvement and make it accessible. There are some bugs to correct and I'd like to remove the languagetool binaries from the Eclipse project so they can be sync at build time by a script. I'm not against moving it @languagetool-org, but I'm not sure it has attained enough maturity right now. I only spent a Sunday afternoon on it ... |
Good luck with your thesis then. Let's talk details when you have submitted it. My ideas so far include expanding the preferences page to allow enabling individual rules as well as the integrated Hunspell checker and yes a build system that makes bundling stuff obsolete as languagetool is also maintained at Maven central. |
Thank you. I see we are on the same page. See you in a few weeks ;) 2014-04-27 12:03 GMT+02:00 Matthias Mailänder notifications@github.com:

Added Tycho Build for this plugin
I'm back ! I passed my PhD and I'm on vacations. I now have time to work on this plugin again ;) Sorry for the delays. |
Congratulations! We automatized the build #5, created a P2 update repository and started documenting it for end users. http://www.vogella.com/tutorials/DocBook/article.html#languagetool |
I created a ticket at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=526033 and am willing to take over though I might need some help. |
Sorry, I couldn't find the time in those past years to work on the plugin. After my thesis, I started a company (Weaverize) I spend all my effort on it. I'll be glad to support you anyway I can. |
I added you as a Contributor to the repository. |
Thanks. |
Although in early stages this is already awesome. How about moving it to the @languagetool-org project and uploading it at http://marketplace.eclipse.org/?
