I tested some of these peers from dnsseed.us.avn.network via nslookup and got no connection from any of them. I know the peers in the explorer include peers with closed ports; I'm starting to think this also may be the case here. I don't manage the dns-seeder myself so I will talk to the person who manages it. I'm led to believe that the dns-seeder is returning peers with closed ports, but I could be wrong about this. Thank you for acknowledging this issue.

I did the same as you with a random selection and got the same results as you.

Issue should be resolved, have updated the seeder to only allow wallet protocol version 70031. IP's being returned by DNS are accessible.
