Hello,

Currently I am planning to test Open AVB stack with switch. So want to know that is current gptp and msrp support switch as well or not?

Thanks & Regards,
Keyur Parekh.

Are you asking whether Open-AVB could be run on switch hardware to create an AVB switch?
If that is the question, the answer would be "not yet".

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for your reply.

I don't want to run AVB stack on switch. I want to use switch from third party and this open AVB stack will run on other machine. So I ask that current stack support AVB switch or not. Because I want to connect multiple listener in switch. So is there any modification required in stack? The switch I will purchase may have their own stack in that. So open avb stack wan't run on that.

Yes, the stack will work with an AVB swiitch. That said, my company only tests against AVnu certified switches. Your mileage may vary as they say.
