Well, as far as I remember, jd created this when he moved over all the Git repositories that were hosted on naquadah. Awesome used oopango and oocairo briefly, but we switched to lgi before a release. I was not aware of lgi when I reviewed oocairo and wrote oopango.

So: This is pretty much dead anyway. What more would you do to make this count as deprecated?

For removing: Why? I'd like to keep this around. If we remove this, I should make sure that I have an up-to-date private fork before it is removed.

We could rename it to zzz-* and mention what you said in the README?

Sure. How about zzz-old-* and the dump of the old web page gets a similar treatment?
