Description of your changes
This PR does the necessary changes needed to drop support for Node.js 14, which is going to be deprecated by AWS Lambda in a few days.
The changes are mainly focused on dependencies and other types of configs that enabled to build and test the code with the Node.js 14 target.
As a result of the updates, we moved to a new major version of
eslintwhich required some linting changes, hence the larger diff.Related issues, RFCs
