Installation

Package builds

The easiest way to install pidgin-chime is to use the Fedora COPR at https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/dwmw2/chime/ which contains packages for Fedora as well as RHEL/CentOS 7.

The Fedora builds of that repository also have an updated Pidgin, with various fixes and updates that enable outbound screen sharing and show presence/name status for non-buddies when you encounter them in chat rooms or IMs.
