Description from The Burning Dutchman:

#Purge : Default command to purge a specific amount of messages.
#Purge (@user/ID) : Special command to purge a specific amount of messages of a person.
#Purge all (@user/ID) : Special command to purge all messages of a person.
#Purge (#channel) : Special command to purge a specific amount of messages of a specific channel
#Purge all (#channel) : Special command to purge all messages of a specific channel.

Also be sure to add /purge to make things easier and make the arguments visible while typing the command.
