If #5 considered valid, I'd recommend to drop .sh suffix, as it doesn't make much sense for binaries. Just check contents of /usr/bin on your system, user generally doesn't care what interpreter is used, and strictly speaking .sh "extension" doesn't go with bash, and I don't think this script would work with pure POSIX sh, like dash.
