Hello, I'm Harry. I engage in creating documents for open source projects. It's part of my contribution in helping open source projects. One of the documents I engage in creating is a privacy policy. The privacy policy will give details about user information collection, use and security. I really don't know if you externally collect user information, but, if you don't, it's good to let end users know via a privacy policy. Most users are skeptical about location apps because they feel their location information is no longer private. I'll love to hear your thoughts on this.

There is no commercial interest for me in this app and i don't collect any user data. I also haven't any plans for collecting data. And I don't think this app should ever be used to collect data.
The only data i have access to are log files from my web server (https://bailu.ch). This server is used to provide satellite based altitude information (dem3 tiles). This files are getting downloaded once for a specific region.
AAT is also using some servers to download map tiles (see README for details). I'm sure they have their own policy published somewhere.
Of course you are welcome to write a privacy policy. I'm sure this could be useful for many users.
