[Feature Request] AMD FSR / Multipass Shaders Support #5
Comments
Currently not planned to support multi pass shaders. Maybe in the future. |
That 9-tap Catmull-Rom texture filtering by TheRealMJP that bolrog uses is great too. |
Ah, thats i can add easily! thanks for suggestion. |
no, thank you for your project, it's the best experience playing d2 that i ever had. thank you so much, can't wait for the centered orbs. |
Diablo II on Magpie (Windowed DDraw): https://imgur.com/a/Wx6wX3C | Notice how it preserves HUD geometry. Definitely seems worth following up. Also with Fidelity FX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening this could lead to the ultimate D2R-killer graphics for the game. https://github.com/Blinue/Magpie |
I uploaded comparison images to a two-image sliding view website. Vanilla D2 (800x600) upscaled with Biinear (left) and FSR 1.0 (right). Settings: Upscale in Performance mode (2x resolution) + RCAS (Robust Content-Adaptive Sharpening). |
Since 1.3.0 FSR 1.0 added by multi-pass shader system. |
Yeah FSR seems like a pretty good upscaler for Diablo II, I tested it by "injecting it" into the game with a tool called Magpie about a year ago.
