Analysis services results options limit results only to a specific text/number

When using "Results Options" for an analysis services, the results field in AS or WS becomes a drop menu with only the text (or numeric) values from "Results Options", for example: Negative, Positive, 2, 50, ect.

If this option is not used, the results field does not allow text or characters different from numbers.

For some analysis or tests, the result might be a number (when detected) or a text (as negative, not detected, less than xx) when having a result less than the detection limit of the method.

The system should permit to choose from the text indicated in "Results Options", although it should also allow to use numerical values. This could be specified for each analysis service depending on the methodology.

you should try calculations for that. We already use it to calculate positive/negative from numbers. e.g. bacterial cultures sizes
