April 1st update broke the docker installation

After watchtower upgraded delugevpn, it no longer starts (it was working just fine previously). There are no scripts under /home/nobody inside the container. Adding the 4 scripts that are in this repository there, it then complains about preruncheck.sh and checkdns.sh missing (and they are missing). Where are those two supposed to come from? I can't find them in the repo here.
I'm running with pia vpn, and everything was perfect before the last update.

After nuking the local configuration, it starts again. While this is a solution, it would be nice to know what was breaking the upgrade. The logs showed nothing special other than complaining about the missing scripts.
