in current conda build cdo works only with the hdf5/netcdf which was used at build time because the lib name is linked with version number:

libhdf5.so.10 => /home/pingu/anaconda/bin/../lib/libhdf5.so.10

to avoid cdo failure when a different netcdf/hdf5 version is used try hardlinking of netcdf/hdf5:
