Having binary files in a git repo is not a common practice and tend to increase the size of the said repo.

The binary file is very small. The DLL files are much bigger, indeed. Sure it increases the size of the repo, but it doesn't take so much space.
The binary file (and its DLL files) are here for people who don't know how to compile a project. For instance, my mum and dad :)
