Do you have any examples of repos that do that? Does it mean that a line of (contributed) code would have a different license from the rest of the codebase? I'm just not sure how exactly it would work but I'd like to incorporate this idea if it's not too complex.

I wanted to discuss your comment on a Hacker News thread: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=24767629. I'm the developer responsible for most of the code in https://github.com/plausible/analytics. I like the idea of dual licensing contributions under AGPL + MIT but I didn't find any examples of anyone doing this.
