Right now there's a mostly-hardcoded list of syntax checks which are active in dev mode. There's technically one which already has its own setting, which highlights "incomplete" BVC statements (which isn't really an error per se, hence the toggle).
It'd honestly probably make sense to just have a separate pref for each syntax check, though. So, look into that.

Eh, after having this sit in the back of my mind for awhile, I'm no longer thinking it's a good idea. Most of the checks are for good reason, and there's probably not much of a reason for someone to legitimately need to toggle 'em off. If we do ever get reports of a specific check which is causing modders problems, I can revisit this (or at the very least offer a similar option like the Incomplete BVC Statements one), but I don't think it's worth the effort to do it more globally.
