MongoDB Settings

JRBlacK uses a NoSQL database to store information. More specifically, it uses MongoDB as its default database.

To use MongoDB with JRBlacK, the developer needs to configure the database access credentials in the bot's configuration file. There are several ways to get a MongoDB database, one of them being through cloud providers that offer free instances for developers, like MongoDB Atlas.

Icon Settings

JRBlacK has a custom icon system, which allows developers to define custom icons for different bot commands and functionality.

However, a common challenge when customizing icons is the lack of patience to add each one individually. To make the process easier, the bot developer recommends creating a few groups of icons, about five groups.

Api Settings

The bot uses APIs to run certain commands, such as the "news" and "film" commands. In order to access the API keys, it is necessary to register on the websites corresponding to the APIs.

Below are the links where you can get access to the keys of each api. After obtaining the keys, it is necessary to place them in the bot's "Database/__init__.py" file, so that it can use them correctly.
