Please update your extension for us on Magento. I tried to install the beta 0.8.9 but it crashed my admin v1.7.0.2. It is a great extension only request I have is that on Categories -> Category Product tab I could add a qty (quantity) column. It doesn't seem to be an option and I cant figure out how to add the column.

Otherwise, what has prevented me from updating the Magento Connect version regularly until now, is that at the time (that may still be the case) every update needed an actual version bump, and I would like the "official" 0.8.9 version to be as complete / stable as possible. Anyway, that should soon be the case, and starting from then, more regular updates should be a requirement.
