Automation Studio requires Variables.var file to exist and to be registered within the package (*.pkg xml file) to build successful.
The BuildVersion package will automatically create/overwrite/update the Variables.var, but it does not register in the *.pkg file if missing.

  1. Check if Variables.var is registered in ANSIC.pkg
  2. Append Variables.var file registration if necessary. Does PowerShell hang up Automation Studio when accessing xml files like it did for Hardware.hw?
