Why the app marked as malicious?

Why the reports said "Drops a new APK file"?

They may have been referring to a commit by gialexpro that modified an included .apk file. I admit, I did not scrutinize this .apk when I approved the merge.

The above mentioned .apk has been removed.

Unfortunately, I do not know how to do that. I have removed the readme links to both F-droid and the play store
