Please read our Code of Conduct!

Our Meetings for Fall and Winter 2023

Venue: MRU Clubhouse (Z306) Frequency: Every Wednesday Time: 4:30pm - 6:30pm

Note: While all Mount Royal University students can join our meetings free of charge, non-students are warmly welcomed too! However, voting rights on club policies remain exclusive to MRU students.

Weekly Meeting Schedule

  • 📣 Roll Call and Ice Breaker: Every meeting kicks off with a quick attendance check, followed by a short and engaging writing exercise. We take a few moments to recap the highlights and decisions of our previous meeting, ensuring we stay aligned with our goals.
  • ✍️ Writing Prompt Session: Everyone is encouraged to bring a writing prompt or an inspiring excerpt. After choosing one, we engage in a timed writing session.
  • 💬 Sharing and Discussion: In the Writer’s Round Table segment, members can present their pieces, gather insights, and receive constructive feedback in an affirming setting.
  • Club Activities and Announcements: Here, we discuss our vibrant array of events, from writing contests and fundraisers to discussions about our online publication. If you wish to have your work featured online, you can submit through our Google Drive.
