I was just a little hard on someone in the name of support on GitHub. Someone reported a problem in absolutely the wrong place by commenting on a documentation issue. I tried to give a polite correction but think there should be a better way to encourage new contributors on GitHub.

I am now thinking that there should be repos like "newbies" or "ask us anything" where new contributors should feel welcome to try contributing. This could be like a classroom or lab where people do not have to fear dealing with overstressed professionals.
