IDS API

The idea originates from @janbrouwer. There could be a standard API for IDS similar to the BCF REST API
, so that people can exchange IDSes without exporting/importing .ids files.

In comparison with BCF, where discussions are often exchanged daily, the specifications (IDS) don't change that frequently. That API would require quite some effort and funding, let's first make sure there is enough demand for it. Please add your vote if you find this feature worth considering by the group. Examples of what you plan to use it for are also welcome.
