Our assumptions, what we want to test/learn

People don't know how to find a licensed contractor. Testing to see if we can increase awareness of what a person needs to do to be able to protect their money and home when hiring contractors to do home improvements. This focuses on the user that is not aware of the process.

Feedback I received from one of my follow up calls who had just completed some home improvements w a licensed contractor. I included all of you for the open question of calling out number of steps vs just saying steps as a content and design with all of our pages.

"It may be helpful to title the page “Ten Steps for Hiring a Licensed Contractor for Home Improvements”. Once one clicks on the first tab to determine the type of contractor needed, the information is fairly technical and detailed. Is there a resource that can be added for consumers to contact for assistance? This may not be feasible, but it would be ideal.
Regarding Tab 8, a “pocket license” is not commonly known. I recommend providing a brief explanation of what it is."
