Establish Account

Browse to a unit page (ie: https://md.events.md.cap.gov or https://stmarys.events.md.cap.gov)

Click on "Sign In" as shown below

Read the Terms and conditions by clicking on the word "here" as circled below.

Read the Privacy Policy by clicking on the words "this page" as circled below.

Next, click on the words "Create one here" as circled below go to the Create Account page and start the process of creating an account.

On the Create Account page, enter your 6-digit CAP ID number in the "CAP ID number" text box. Enter a valid email address in the "Email Address" text box.
- Valid email addresses are those that are present in the eServices data for the ID number entered.
- eServices information is imported into EVMPlus every evening.
- If the EvMPlus site is unable to verify your credentials, please go to eServices and verify the email address contained there.
- If your email address was changed in eServices today, you may have to wait until the next day to move forward with the account creation process. In that case, wait until tomorrow and request a new account creation email by following steps 1 through 6 above.

Within minutes you will receive an email similar to the one depicted below.
- If you haven't received the email within 5 minutes, please check the spam folder in your email program.
- If the email is still unlocated, please contact our support team at eventsupport@md.cap.gov.

In the email received, click on the "Confirm account creation" link as depicted below.

Clicking on this link will open a browser to the page depicted below. On it you are prompted to establish your login credentials.
- Please select a memorable username. This does not have to be the same as your eServices login.
- Passwords must be at least 11 characters in length and conform to the complexity requirements described on the page (circled in the image below).

If you don't recall your login credentials, you may recover them by browsing to the main page and clicking the "Sign in" link.

On the sign in page click on "Request it here" to retrieve your username, or "Reset your password" to establish a new password.

Provide the requested information and an email will be sent to your eServices email address containing your username or a link to reset your password. *
