Metamask needs password to import an account along with the private key/json
However, it looks like the test accounts with 20 ether all have no password set.
So how do we go about that?

Basically, those accounts are rendered useless from Metamask standpoint.

just create new accounts with a password phrase in metamask and export them to your project folder, add them to the account list (or replace the existing with your own).

@flefevre Just FYI you can use the keystore file with an empty password for Web3j, that works fine.
