Truncate description text in data tables

Descriptions currently take up a lot of space on the screen. Is there a way to make the description cut off after, for example, 50 words that can be expanded if the user clicks?

There is not a Bootstrap component to do this, like for #62, so this will require another external JS library or some custom styles and JS to be able to expand/collapse the text inside the table.

Estimates:
A) Only cut text and show ellipsis -> 1 h
B) Cut text and be able to expand/collapse it -> 4 h
