No autocompletion under Eclipse neon

Since this updates the autocompletion does not work anymore. Everytime I use CTRL+Space I get a beep or error tone (depending on the system) and no suggestions are shown.
This happens in the REPL and in the Editor.

If I use Eclipse Luna or Mars the autocompletion works properly.

I think this is a duplicate of Issue #866
I am having the same sort of problem on Counterclockwise IDE Version 0.35.0.STABLE001 on Linux. (Although when I Ctrl+Space there is no beep. No response at all.)

I cannot use the auto complete feature of counterclockwise 0.35.0.STABLE001 on Linux and Windows 7. (installed as plug-in in eclipse). Therefore I degrade the version to 0.34.0.STABLE001 on Linux.
