Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
You scare the hell out of me, with a website, that doesn't have an explanation on the front page, yet ask me to auth. it towards my plex account

Describe the solution you'd like
At least take some parts of About & Help and put that right on the front page, before asking for linking ;)

Describe alternatives you've considered
Not using it, if I wasn't a dev, and would run screaming away shouting out loud, that the wolf is coming

Hmmmm... I don't really want extra text on the page itself - it's meant to be more of a tool / webapp than a web_site_ per se and the additional text takes up space, which detracts from the overall flow especially on mobiles.

However, I could add a dismissable banner on first visit that gives some information, and then directs the user to the Help popup if they want more information.

I reverse proxied PASTA, and when I was trying to connect to my Plex server locally, it threw an error that I was using http (since it was local) despite loading the website over https. It gives to option to load PASTA over http, at which point it actually redirects to https://www.pastatool.com. Because the website looks the same as the selfhosted app, it is very very easy for a user to not realize they are no longer using their own instance when they try to authenticate.

I think this redirect should be removed for sure, and I think there should be a clear indication on the pastatool.com website that it is not the selfhosted version.

My 2 cents
