This is not a bug with freetype-go. fmt and the others are standard library 
packages. Your configuration is somehow incorrect.

Using sudo is probably not the right thing to do. For example, see 
https://groups.google.com/d/msg/golang-nuts/FjBlKsBZ92M/wfcdHxzGpo4J

If that still doesn't help, I would suggest asking the golang-nuts mailing list 
for help on what is going wrong. When you do, it would help to add what the 
output of "env | grep ^GO" is on your system.
