Hey everyone 👋🏾

I'm a PhD Candidate in Computer Science at Cornell University with research interests in computer vision, global health, human-AI interaction, and ICTD! Within these fields, I work on projects in Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and the rest of the Global South to improve the diagnosis of infectious and tropical diseases through mobile health.

In my free time, I love to travel (currently on pause), scroll down my Twitter feed, blog, compose songs, learn about venture capital, and pursue entrepreneurial endeavors.

  • 👩🏿‍💻 I’m working on a research study to learn more about perceptions of AI in low-resource contexts
  • 🌱 I’m learning about the VC ecosystem in Africa
  • 📚 I’m reading Bitter by Awaeke Emezi and A Girl is a Body of Water by Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi
  • 💬 Ask me about being in grad school, side-hustling, or bias in machine learning
  • 📫 How to reach me: go through my website!
  • Fun fact: I've been to over 20 countries and lived in 3!
