A Terraform Apigee provider.
Allows Terraform deployments and management of Apigee API proxies, deployments, products, companies/developers/apps, and target servers.
I needed a way to deploy to the environment "test" without always creating a new proxy revision. IE. All changes commited to a proxy repo are then terraform applied and pushed to the latest revision, but only if its either not deployed to an environment or only occupied by the environment "test". If "test" and "stage" are deployed to the latest proxy revision, then a new proxy revision will be moved and "test" will be updated to point at this.

I did not like this as a new revision for every mistake someone makes causes too much noise. Breaking test should not be an issue. So my changes do this:

You see that? It created a new revision, and promoted test to it. Now, I have noticed sometimes terraform needs to run twice to catch the changes to test to point to the new revision. But this drastically reduces the number of revisions created.
Next time changes are made to the proxy:

Still, no new revision was created. If you want to go back to the default behavior, simply turn off the flag "deploy_test_revision_alone = false"

Should be buildable on any terraform version at or higher than 0.9.3. To build you would use the standard go build command. For example for MacOS:

To run tests, use the following commands. Note that you will need your credentials setup for the tests to run. You can authenticate with your username/password OR an access token from Apigee OAuth.
NOTE: Tests will run on apigee. Ensure you don't have production data there.

We use goreleaser to release versions. The steps to release are:

I noticed that in proxy, setting the revision to "latest" doesn't work too well. I am not sure how to fix this. When terraform runs "resourceApiProxyDeploymentRead", it sees that the state file shows "latest". However, a proxy deployment may have occured increasing the revision number. Terraform only compares the string "latest" to string "latest" and doesn't notice the change. If you you use the example above and point it directly to the respurce ("apigee_api_proxy.helloworld_proxy.revision"), then your revision will always be the "latest" revision without actually using the string "latest" in your terraform code and does not cause bugs like the string "latest" does. This is the best option.
At this time you cannot import the following resources: apigee_developer_app
