Bad performance for creating or viewing large PHP code snippet

I know it takes some time. Unfortunately this is done by the syntax highlighting library. There was a caching in a earlier stikked version with the tradeoff of using very much space in the DB.

I'll see what I can do about it. Implementing a better caching? Maybe.

You could use Varnish-Cache as a temporary workaround.
