Killer Wifi driver fails to load #1568
Comments
Looks like https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/ is out of date. |
Pinged some intel folks about this... let's hope we hear back. downgrading your kernel may actually help you. Perhaps an LTS kernel can be of help. |

I no longer have Clear Linux installed on my system, so I cannot provide that output. I'm sorry. |

Killer WiFi has REALLY poor support for kernel microcode updates. Please reach out to your hardware vendor and let them know of the issue, so they will choose better HW for their next iteration. |
@thiagomacieira did that, wrote support request to Killer for firmware update to latest kernels. |
This the reply I got:
But there is a page on Intel https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005511/network-and-i-o/wireless-networking.html With link to firmware and it's all 48 and needed to symlink to 50
What is the correct approach for handling this in future? @miguelinux |
Wifi on Dell XPS 13 7390 appears to be broken with the latest update.
