The idea is to change the color of the icon selected that's why i need to remove the overlay.

Hi @slim-azaiz , am i right that you want completelly remove static selected holder (blue frame with selected icon inside) and just change color of selected item? For this you can just use basic recyclerView. Can you describe, what exactly you want to make?
