I was reminded of this by this Smashing post that @megnotarte shared. Specifically:

One way to display the output better is by using a project hub — one central place with all the important assets all collected in one place, sorted chronologically, and always up to date. As a result, the client can come to the site at any time and see the progress right away.

Right now, our "Overview" page is pretty useless. It gives a partially redundant introduction to the platform, repeats the navigational elements, and sometimes dumps the color palette there. I think there's an opportunity to treat the introductory piece more as a "hub" than it is currently.
