Sometimes users want to configure their parse tree at runtime e.g. only allow certain options on certain platforms, or hide options relating to features the user's license does not permit, etc.
A policy will be provided whose constructor's bool arg will determine how the pre-parse phase behaves. If true then operate as it does now, otherwise return immediately from the pre-parse phase with
parsing::pre_parse_action::skip_node
.A complication is that help documentation will need to be skipped when the policy's input is
false
. Currently this is 'unrolled' using types via TMP but obviously that won't work anymore, a reference to the node will need passing where the policy's value can be queried.The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
